Brad Pitt

Steven Klein Case Study

Thank you Hex Hector!

Thank god there are remixes of songs. Jennifer Lopez has new song called “Fresh out the oven” I think it’s a horrible song. But then there is Hex Hector, his remix turns a crappy song into something what is danceable in a club. Thank you Hex for the art of remixing and deleting the crappiest parts of the song. Judge for yourself.

Mixing YouTube

I read about a website where you can mix your own Youtube clips. The website can be found here.
For some reason I had some problems searching for other clips, but maybe my browser is not supported.

Ivri Lider

About two years ago I saw the movie Jossi and Jagger. I love this movie by Eytan Fox. (I can recommend it) But it's not about the movie. The theme song is from Ivri Lider. A beautiful song called "Bo". It's in Hebrew and I cannot understand a word. Since then I listened to a lot of his songs. Still cannot understand it but maybe thats one of the reasons I like it so much. Not knowing just feeling...
Here is one of his songs called Melatef VeMeshaker.

My old house

Long live google maps and street view. Since this week my city (‘s-Hertogenbosch) can be viewed in street view. I think it’s a nice feature and fun to search for places you’ve been before. I searched for my old house in Deventer. I lived there in the city centre and it was the smallest house of the city. It was attached to a big old house. To my surprise I saw that my Janet Jackson stickers are still on the window… I am wondering if someone lives there since it’s been almost ten years since I left there…

Motorola Aura

Motorola has made a limited edition phone. Costing over a grand you'd expect it to have some hi-tech smarts on board, but beneath its admittedly stylish casing, this is actually a very basic handset, with just a 2-megapixel camera, and no 3G or Wi-Fi, no document readers or push email - no memory expansion even.

This is a phone with a rotating top section that flips round 180 degrees to reveal the keyboard. The mechanism can be seen under a viewing hatch on the backplate and it looks rather like the innards of a watch thanks to its cogs. It boasts a Swiss-made main bearing and apparently more than 200 parts are involved in the opening mechanism, including 130 ball bearings.

But is it worth all that money?
